TEHRAN — The private sector will build two industrial specialized towns in Qazvin Province, Mohammad Baqer Aqa-Alikhani, the chairman of the province’s Industries and Mines Department said on Tuesday.

Named as Berelyan, one industrial town is to be built in Boyin-Zahra city, covering a land area as large as 200 ha, he explained. The productive and industrial units active in non-metallic minerals are to start activities in this town, he added, predicting them as much as 60 units.

He further explained that the infrastructural installations such as water, gas, and electricity have been conveyed to the town and the preliminary operations are currently underway.

The other industrial town is to be established by Iran Khodro Industrial Group (IKCO) in Takestan city. Enjoying a land area as large as 1000 ha, it is to deal with the part-making activities, he noted, putting the number of the units at 200.

He added that the IKCO has carried out the preliminaries in the town.
